Hey everyone,
I’m reaching out today not for myself, but for a close friend of mine who has been dealt a tough blow.
He’s a passionate underwater and nature photographer based in Guam—someone who doesn’t just take photos, but captures his home in a different light. His camera has been his tool to preserve memories for others and a means of making a small living.
Recently, during a shoot that took him into the water, his camera was accidentally soaked and is now beyond repair. For someone who relies on this equipment both professionally and artistically, it’s a major setback.
We’re trying to raise $6,500 to help him replace his camera and get back to doing what he loves—and what so many in our community know on him for. This amount will go toward a professional-grade replacement that matches the quality and durability he needs to continue his work.
If you’ve ever had a moment beautifully captured on camera, you know how important those memories are. If you’ve ever been moved by a photograph, you know the power one image can hold. Helping him continue his craft is more than just buying a camera—it’s investing in someone who gives others the gift of memory.
Any amount, big or small, will make a difference. Even just sharing this means a lot. Let’s help get him back behind the lens where he belongs. If you want to check out some of his work— @lostwithlukes on Instagram.
