Get Yer Tits Out

Hi, my name is Donna Farey. Having recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, I reached out to a local fellow breast cancer beauty, Rachel. Rachel founded the Pontefract and District Breast Cancer Support Group, and supports so many people within the community and goes every extra mile possible to ensure they are feeling safe, loved, and reassured, whatever path they are travelling on.

I know this support group is going to be part of my life for a very long time. The group aims to bring people together, and enables them to enjoy time together, with the bond they have through the journey they are on, whether that be the beginning, middle or end of their journey.

I wanted to do my part to keep this group going, so I have a fundraiser planned.

It's time to Get Yer T*ts Out.

Join me, my family, and friends on fri 31st May 2024 at 8pm to "get yer t*ts out" and raise awareness for breast cancer, and raise money for the fantastic Pontefract and District Breast Cancer Support Group at the same time. Meeting in Bell Lane car park at 8pm, we will head off on a walk (up Dandos way, upto the Electric Theatre, then back down the main road, down bell lane and to the Masons Arms). There's a catch, there's 3 things you need to do.......men and women.......

1-Wear a bra - decorated as sparkly and outrageous as you like, and get them on show.

2- Pledge a promise to check your breasts for lumps and changes (everybody). we are hoping to have someone on hand upstairs at the Masons Arms who can show you how to check properly, and you can do it there and then.

3- if possible, make a small donation to the charity on the night or on here, although your presence and pledge means more than anything.

Tell your friends and family and bring them all along.

We can hopefully call in other pubs along the way and gather donations as we go.
