UPDATE: I am asking everyone for a little help that can go a long way. My mom has been in the hospital since may 9th 2022. She has gone through procedures, medications, off and on oxygen, She’s actually doing a little worse, her face is swollen from air being trapped in her shoulder which led to her face and now half her face is completely swollen and she can’t open one eye. Apparently they are trying to “find a solution” to getting the air out. She also has a pocket of puss that may be an infection right next to her feeding tube inside, so she is going to have to go to the radiology to get it removed/drained. She has also been on and off with the oxygen again. She had not had a bowel movement in over a week they had to keep trying different things… she finally did last night but not much and the solution they used made her feel sick. I’m disappointed with the care she’s been receiving there honestly, and they seem to brush off her concerns. I don’t see them doing much help resolving the problems or take concern when she explains.
Hi everyone! I am making this GoFundMe for my mom Kimberly Amos. She is in the cardiovascular ICU at Peace Health Southwest. Our goal is to reach 10,000$ to help with any equipment, medications, therapy, overdue bills, etc. My mom has COPD, asthma, emphysema, and pneumonia. This was not Covid related. We are so thankful for all the love, prayers, and support we’ve been receiving. A little can go a long ways! She had a procedure done 5/15/2022 for a feeding tube and tracheostomy. She’s a lot more alert and no longer sedated. Hoping this will also help with care costs after her time spent in the hospital. I appreciate you for taking the time to read this anything is appreciated and most of all thank you for the prayers.
