Anyone who works in the rescue community has likely had the pleasure of meeting Nicole, she is always there when one of us calls and needs help with transport. Now it's our turn to help her! During her last run to Auburn with her vehicle full of felines getting spayed/neutered, her engine died and it had to be towed. It's not repairable, and has to be replaced. She had gotten the quote for replacement at $7k which is a huge bill! She does so much for our community. She transports around 200 animals a month on spay neuter runs alone! That doesn't include the animals she helps the shelter transport to other facilities and rescues. Nor does it include the animals she transports from shelters to rescue! The time she spends transporting is her donated time, she is a volunteer like most rescuers are. She does all of these runs from the goodness of her heart.
