Get the SSSM to Winnemucca Indian Colony

Hello again, we are so thankful for all the support we have gotten and our trip to Winnemucca Indian Colony was very successful. But we need your help again, we have been asked to return to support the elders and defenders there, as an official eviction order for all residents of the Winnemucca Indian Colony has been handed down in their ongoing legal battle. We are trying to get there as soon as we can and will use these funds for travel costs and acquiring medical supplies to leave with them after our departure. Every little bit helps, thank you.

The South Sound street medics (SSSM) are an Indigenous-led group who actively work in social justice movements and with undeserved community's by providing free immediate first aid care. The SSSM are currently try to get to the Winnemucca Indian Colony to support the fight to protect the homes of elders from being demolished and to protect the land. The SSSM have been asked by the elders of the Winnemucca Indian colony to come and conduct street medic training and to provide first aid support to elders and allies there. They are raising funds to be able to rent a car for their time Nevada and to be able to transport elders in need of medical attention. This is the last thing that they need to be able to travel to Winnemucca and any amount of support is helpful!
