Get the Kildare Irish Figure Dancers To France

We are an Irish figure Dancing exhibition group. The group is made up of 50 dancers from all Irish Figure Dancing classes across Kildare who would normally compete against each other throughout the year but have been brought together to promote and spread our love and passion for the tradition of Irish Dancing.

Irish Figure Dancing is quite different from the Irish dancing that most people know and in fact, it is unique to Kildare. KIFD has been in Kildare for well over 70 years, with many towns and villages having classes associated at some stage over the years and thousands of young people benefiting from the fun affordable outlet.

This group aims to bring Irish Figure Dancing all around Ireland and abroad where possible and show the world a different side of Irish Dancing, a fun, non-competitive, simple but exciting form of Irish dancing.

The group is run 100% voluntarily with all money going back into the running costs of the group. We have been offered many exhibitions in Ireland so far and we are truly grateful.

The possibility of us going to Disney Land Paris to dance is something that we want NOBODY to miss out on.

We want to make this possible for each individual to have an opportunity to go on this amazing adventure and spread our love for Irish Figure Dancing worldwide.

With our group being 100% voluntary we can't go without the funds.
