I am looking to go on my very first mission trip out of the country to Guatemala. We are helping to build a little blue school for a community that has long dreamed of a safe space where their children can learn, grow, and create brighter futures. The school will have five classrooms and a kitchen/cafeteria, and we have the honor of helping bring it to life.

This is going to be a two week trip, and the costs have stacked up quickly. It's about $2,800 in costs - which doesn't account for lost wages during the time that I will be away, etc. The mission trip is coming up soon in the middle of July - less than a month away now.

I finally received my passport, which means this is really real and really happening. I've paid over $1,000 so far already - but in an attempt to not break the bank and become destitute due to this mission trip - I'm asking for help.

If you feel so called to give, it would be greatly appreciated. The money is certainly going to a good cause - and I am very excited about the prospect of my first mission trip and first trip out of the country.
