Hello, my name is Shaimaa. I live in the UK but I am a proud Palestinian.

I am trying to evacuate 11 of my family members safely through Rafah to Egypt. For that, I need a visa for every single one of them, to get new passports as they lost theirs during their multiple displacements and a little money so that they may be able to live in Egypt and find work and establish a new life there. They do not want to leave but it is too dangerous and we have no choice but to evacuate them.

I truly need your help, I have little cousins, including 3, 8, 11 years old and one who was born during this genocide in January. He is in need of basic necessities, including milk, something he should never be without. He also has a chest infection and due to the cold conditions and lack of access to proper hospital care, it's very difficult for him to get better.

My aunt needs blood pressure medication and her condition worsens with the current situation. They have no home to return to, all their belongings have had to be left behind while fleeing and were found under the rubble when they went to try and salvage what they could.

My family has always been in Palestine but we have reached a point of no turning back. We are in an impossible situation and I wake up and sleep fearing hearing the worst, every day and night. They had jobs, lives, friends and so much love to give and it's all been stripped away from them. The terror that is reigned on them by the hour is impossible to comprehend.

We are originally from Al Majdal and were forced out decades ago by the violence of the settlers. This is not new to my family. They have lived through many wars and enough brutality and have never asked for my help until now. The circumstances are dire and so I humbly ask you for your help, this is the only way I can try and get them to safety.
