One year ago my moms life completely changed. She was sick with Covid and felt light headed. Before she could sit down she blacked out and hit her head/neck. When she woke up she was paralyzed from the neck down. She has overcome many obstacles this last year but unfortunately has been unable to regain her mobility. As we are at the one year mark we are shifting our goal from a recovery to a way we can enrich her life as a paraplegic. Due to the full time care she currently needs she is unable to live outside of a medical facility. We are however able to check her out for short day trips. Our goal is to raise enough money to help purchase a wheel chair accessible van for her! Being able to bring her home for a BBQ or go out to dinner or just a day outside of her facility would make a world of difference in her life. Please help us make her life just a little brighter.
