Let's get Mike to the Coast !!!
A few of us thought it would be nice to organize to spoil Mike Toner with a token of our appreciation for all the work he has done in preparation for the Quick as Thieves run.
It takes a lot and time and effort to motivate over 100 of us that are mostly used to only walking up the Revolver stairs on a Sunday morning than running half and full marathons. We're sure it hasn't been an easy challenge, but he has taken it in his stride and motivated us to get to where we are now.
He's planning to take some time off once the run is over to take Benji on a road trip down the coast, and we thought it would be a nice idea to organize a gift voucher so he can get an RV and take some well deserved R&R.
We understand it's a tough time for everybody, and you are already digging deep in your pockets to raise money for Fred Hollows, however, if you can spare ANYTHING then it will be very appreciated.
Please keep this a secret from Mike! We're only 2 weeks out and we want to surprise him with it on the day.
