Get me to the CA Democratic Conventions

I am humbled to have been elected as a Delegate to the California Democratic Party state conventions. It is my first time running for an elected position. I was one of 14 people running on the Progressive/Labor slate in CA Assembly District 2 and 11 of us won.
I am excited to represent my district and all Democrats in CA as we meet to set the platform for the state party and influence the national debate. I will also be voting on who the Democrats endorse in 2019 and 2020 elections. This is a very important time in our history and I am honored to be playing a part in the electoral process.
I am also signed up for various caucuses including LGBTQ, Labor, Rural, Progressive and Environmental.
There are two conventions each year. In 2019 the first one is in San Francisco on May 31- June 2. The second one is in November. It will cost me about $1500 for each, including travel, hotel, meals and registration. This is beyond what I can comfortably do financially and need your help.
It means a lot to me that at such a turbulent time in our history that I can be a part of the solution.
If you want to help, my gratitude will know no bounds. There is no contribution too small or too large.
Ultimately, my dream is to be part of the national Democratic Convention in Minneapolis in 2020. My head explodes just thinking of that but first things first.
I hope you will help even if you are not a registered Democrat. I will be representing you too in my efforts to make California, America and the world a safer and more equitable home for us all.
