Get Kids Off Dirt Floors - Mission 100 Homes

Our mission is to raise $1M to build 100 homes for families in need. We are asking for your support to reach this goal by 2028. To date, we have supported 3 families in need and are working towards donating our 4th home in April 2024.

You are invited to see the family stories here on this page and we will continue to update the page as we steadily reach our goal.

We are raising funds to build a home for a family in Baja California Mexico, and get their children proper shelter, bedding, and education.

This fundraiser will cover all of the materials for the home including add-ons like solar panels, water tanks, furniture, and bedding. We invite you to contribute if you feel called to do so, any amount you can donate goes a long way!

Our first time experiencing the living conditions in a little village in Ensenada Mexico was eye opening. Young parents with children under the age of 5 are often living in a single room hut with no floor, no insulation, spotty roofs at best, sharing one bed for the entire family to sleep on. In 3 days we were able to build an insulated two bedroom home to get them off the dirt floor. ⁣It didn’t require any money from us. Just my time and a little bit of labor and love. ⁣

After volunteering on several builds now, we decided that this mission is something extremely special to us, something we wanted to be more involved with, and we are going to fund builds of our own in conjunction with Baja Bound.

Our next build is going to take place in Q1 of 2024 and to get the family selection process started, we get to commit to a deposit. You can help make this possible!

The reason for this fundraiser is to raise additional funds to support the families and community. Our company's donation will give them a safe, dry, and warm place to raise their family but there are always some additional items that would help them thrive. There is a list of add-ons such as a fresh water tank, new bedding, solar panel system, or stove & we get an opportunity to ask the family what would best serve them when we meet them in person. We will also be volunteering at a food shelter, animal shelter, and orphanage & will be making a donation to each place we stop.

All funds raised here will be directly donated to the additional items that the families we are building for need or donated back to the community organizations we volunteer with.
