Get Ken Resettled in India

Our wonderful and kind friend of many years, Ken Ireland, is heading back to Dharmshala, India to live just a few hundred meters from the Dalai Lama (still can't get away from the Church, any church!) He will once again be teaching English to Tibetan monks and helping to translate the Chinese classic Blue Cliff Record into Tibetan (the proof reading can present a challenge).
Ken has lived most of his 75 years in a life of service: 11 years a Jesuit novitiate, campaign aide to Harvey Milk, liaison to Soto Zen priest Tommy Issan Dorsey, and founding member of Maitri Compassionate Care, a AIDS hospice in the Castro, San Francisco.
Service, unfortunately, does not pay well. Ken will need some savings, of which he currently has none, to help him live a simple life of service in the foothills of the Himalayas.
Ken has always been by our sides when we needed help. Now he needs us, just a little bit. It would be a wonderful send-off gift if you could join me in throwing a few coins in the hat.
