Get Kass A Diabetic Alert Dog

As many of you know in April of this year Kass was suddenly diagnosis with Type one diabetes. Kass is autistic and nonverbal his life was rough enough before diabetes. One day Kass was just not feeling well, the next day he's almost slipped into a coma, for the second time in his life he's being life flighted two hours from home fighting for his life. 
    After a week in the pediatric ICU he was clear to come home with a life changing diagnosis. We have had quite a lot of adjustment to do between the finger pokes, the six daily shots and constant carb counts. However we are still battling constant dangerously low blood sugar and risky highs. 
    We've tried constantly monitoring devices and they are wildly inaccurate and sometimes just made the situation worse. His medical team has suggested a diabetic alert dog so he can go run and play and go to school like a normal kid but they are expensive. 
   We crunched the numbers and everything comes out to about 3500.00 total, money we just simply don't have, so putting pride aside we are asking for help. We need a dog that can be Kass's voice and let us know when something is wrong so we can correct his blood sugar.
