Get Gordon off the streets!

Hi there Crouch End community! This fundraiser is for local homeless man Gordon, many of you will recognise him as he has been sat outside Waitrose for a few years. Gordon is homeless and has fallen on hard times! Crouch End has been my home for the last 4 years and I absolutely love the wonderful community we have here. I feel like I’m home in Scotland living here! There should be no homeless people on our streets here if we can all help it!

After speaking to Gordon over the years I’ve decided to make this go fund me! A local hostel costs around £17 a night and that includes dinner. I have set the target to £750 - this will get Gordon a bed and food in the hostel for roughly a month, it will also afford some new clothes and toiletries ect. If we can raise more it would be amazing, but I think it’s a good place to aim for to help get him back on his feet! I will personally go with Gordon to the hostel and put down the money for as long as possible for however much we raise! This will also give Gordon time to focus on looking for a job!

I have contributed the first £50 and if we get the full amount I’ll put in another £50 by the end! Any donations would be massively appreciated, Gordon knows this is happening and is very, very thankful. He was in tears when I told him the plan. Come on you beautiful Crouch End folk! Let’s do this and make a difference!

Also, I know that Gordon is not the only homeless person in the area, but hopefully if this is successful we can do more of this!
