Hey y’all

We come bearing bad news. Our good friend Erika (Private Service, Flesh of Mourning, Yugo, Frail Memorials) unfortunately had her motorcycle stolen late Thursday (6/22) night. This bike was Erika’s primary mode of transportation. This transportation allowed Erika to travel to different clubs and make money playing music. Without a primary mode of transportation, Erika will now have to rely on public transportation and ride shares to get to places to make money. The insurance company has quoted Erika a *minimum* of $2,500 to get another motorcycle. We are asking that everyone pitch in what they can. All donations raised exceeding the $2,500 mark will go towards 1) purchasing security equipment to prevent future theft incidents and 2) travel costs in the interim of not having a primary mode of transportation.

Erika is a pillar of the music scene here in Austin and we will not allow something as simple as a stolen bike to keep her from making money making music. Please donate what you can! We will also be accepting cash donations at the Yugo gig this Saturday 6/24. It’s an early show so get to Chess Club at 7-9pm to donate cash!
