If you are a member of the Smash Bros. Community, you have probably heard of the dynamic father-son duo, DADIC and SHADIC. To know them is to love them. DADIC drives his 15-year-old son all around the state of Texas for him to compete in Smash Bros. Ultimate tournaments. In the crowd, you can find DADIC, cheering on his son with pride, joy, and love. Recently, SHADIC took home first place at the South Texas Gamers Expo - an amazing Father's Day gift for his dad! SHADIC is #46 on the OrionRank, has won three regionals in Texas, is ranked #1 in the Rio Grande Valley, and is ranked #3 in the state of Texas!

Behind the smile that you will always find on DADIC's face, he is unfortunately going through some tough times. In April, as he was driving home from a visit with his grandmother in Denton, Texas, he was in an unavoidable car accident with both of his children in the vehicle. A large steel pipe had fallen on to the roadway and was covering both lanes. This horrific ordeal unfolded with just one hour left of their trip home. An MRI showed both DADIC and SHADIC have herniated discs.

Fast forward to the present day. DADIC has been let go from his job. Doctor's orders said light duty, and unfortunately, his job was anything but that. There are no other available positions for a light duty role. To make matters worse, his car has been considered a total loss and the rental car he was provided had to be returned.

DADIC is not one to ask for help. He has not said much publicly about his situation because he had high hopes that it would all work out. Right now, he has no vehicle to get around and do anything - like job hunting, grocery shopping, or getting his son to tournaments. Let's help get DADIC get back on the road!
