Get Custody of Millie - Legal Fees

I’ve started this GoFundMe campaign to help Milz and me with the legal fees we've incurred by taking my ex to court and asking for full custody. Despite the help we've received thus far, it's causing massive financial hardship. Milz and I could use your help to stay ahead of this and keep our heads above water. I understand these are not the best times, and I've never done anything like asking for financial assistance. It's humbling, and I can only tell you how much gratitude I have!

While my lawyer had originally estimated it would cost around $10K for the full motion to process, it has far exceeded that amount. We did not anticipate the many objections that would be filed, plus the full Guardian ad Litem (GAL) cost.

My sincere thanks to those of you have already supported and/or contributed. Our case was before a Superior Court judge last Friday, 6/16/23. Once again, the court found in my favor, denying all three motions, which clears the path for the GAL to finish the investigation of my family. Once they're done, they'll give recommendations to the court for our revised Parenting Plan. I will be sure to keep you all posted after the next court hearing when we know a little bit better about what the future looks like. Thank you all so much.
