Get Chamath a Tuktuk !

I have had the honour of working with Chamath down in the south of Sri Lanka. Anyone who has had the privilege of meeting this man knows what a selfless and humble person he is. He is an incredible husband and father to his wife and 3 kids, Chamath dedicates his entire life to improving theirs.
He has not had any easy path in life, losing his house in the 2004 tsunami, during which Sri Lanka was still engaged in civil war, then dealing with the 2019 terrorist attack, the pandemic and finally the 2022 economic crisis.
Chamath currently has only a motorbike to move his family of 5 around on. Currently his middle child has to duck down while sitting on Chamath's lap, so that Chamath can see while he is driving. With his kids growing by the day and two monsoon seasons each year bringing heavy rains, he would love to buy a tuktuk to support his family in a safe and stable way.
Unfortunately due to the economic crisis over the last few years, the cost of a decent secondhand tuktuk has more than doubled in price. This has been compounded by the government banning vehicle imports to curtail foreign currency outflow. Pre economic crisis, you could buy a decent second hand tuktuk for around 500,000LKR ($2,400 AUD or $1,600 USD). These days the same tuktuk costs 1.2-1.4million LKR ($5-7k AUD or $4-4.5k USD). This is the average yearly salary in Sri Lanka, to save this much is a near unattainable goal, particularly in the time frame that this resource is required.
If you have capacity to donate, it would be much appreciated. If we happen to reach a point where we have excess, these funds will go towards his incredible children, supporting their education and development.
NOTE: As GoFundMe does not support Sri Lankan Rupee, I have set it up so the funds can be received to my Australian bank account. From there I can facilitate the handover of funds to Chamath through Wise.
