Get Carol to Finland!

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for your help in making my mom’s dream come true. She has been trying for years to get to Finland, and despite multiple attempts, something always gets in the way—whether it’s financial setbacks, unexpected life events, or circumstances beyond her control. In 2020, she was set to go to Finland, tickets on hand- but then the pandemic hit. In 2024, Carol and her sister, Marilyn were ready to take off when days before they left, Marilyn got sick and passed away a couple months later. A couple months after that, her husband of 38 years passed from pancreatic cancer.. if anyone deserves this journey, it’s her.

My mom has poured so much of her heart into others, always putting family, friends, and responsibilities first. She rarely asks for anything for herself, and to visit the land of her ancestors has been her dream destination all her life! She has worked so hard and has gone through so much, she deserves to finally experience this trip potentially in the summer of 2026.

I’m asking for your support to help her get there. We know it would be her dream to also bring her kids with her.. so whether it’s covering flights, accommodations, or just ensuring she has what she needs to truly enjoy the experience, every little bit helps.

Let’s make this happen for her—she deserves it!

P.S. She doesn’t know we are doing any of this so please do not mention anything to her! We all know how stubborn she is with receiving any help.
