Help us bring the transformative Run Hope Work program to Baltimore!
Run Hope Work’s mission is to help youth and young adults transform their lives through a holistic program incorporating physical fitness, mental well-being, and industry-recognized workforce training.
Why Baltimore?
Like other major cities, Baltimore has thousands of young adults trying to find their way to a better future. Our model provides a pathway to prosperity for these young people—an opportunity to work toward physical health, mental wellness, and career success.
Run Hope Work’s founder, Jose Ortiz Gaud, was born in Puerto Rico, but Baltimore was his first home on the U.S. mainland. Baltimore is where he began his transformation: finding recovery, starting a business, and developing a running discipline. When Jose created Run Hope Work in Washington, D.C., he always envisioned returning to Baltimore to build a program here.
What Sets Us Apart: Among countless workforce development programs, Run Hope Work stands alone. We recognize that success in the workforce requires more than just job training. Our foundational elements of physical fitness and mindfulness, combined with intensive, skills-based work-readiness training, equip our participants with the tools for long-term employment success.
