Help a desperate mom of 3 leave an abusive relationship.

Edit: I can't believe how generous everyone has been. Kerri just told me she's been feeling so helpless for so long and seeing the support she's getting has her feeling renewed and strong enough to do this. She's reached out to a bunch of different places for help. I want everyone to know every penny will be going towards helping her and the girls. She's been pawning things for diapers and bills lately so this is going to make a world of difference for her. It can pay for food, clothes, rent, past due bills and more. I cannot thank you all enough for helping get her and her babies to safety as fast as possible.

Hi, I'm Jennifer, the oldest of 4 kids who were raised in less than ideal conditions. Despite our upbringing, we all have made some great strides to improve our lives. However, despite her best efforts, my youngest sister, Kerri, has found herself stuck in a scarily abusive situation with three small children.

She has been trying to save up enough money to leave for about a year now but her circumstances have made that impossible.

Through it all, the family has been doing our best to support her while constantly reminding her she deserves better. She has finally decided to take the advice of her family and go to a shelter with her children.

So we have started to plan. The first and biggest hurdle is to get her deeply loved dog, Fizzy, over to NJ so family can care for her until she is back on her feet.

Fizzy is about 13yo and has lived with Kerri her entire life. She's deeply loved by the whole family and we all worry about the affects of her going to a shelter. Fizzy would be devastated to lose the only family she's ever known. Kerri would be so heartbroken it would make an already terrible situation worse. We all need Fizzy to stay with the family that loves her.

After reviewing several options we've realized anything we do is going to cost several hundred dollars which is money she obviously does not have.
