PTSD & Anxiety Support Dog for Rain

Help Teen with PTSD get support dog.
Hi, my name is Chris Sanborn. This site and much of its content was created by my child, Rain. I am assisting Rain with this project.
Hi, this is Rain. I just turned 15 and am going back to school after being on leave for two months due to PTSD-related episodes of self harm and panic attacks. I have been in and out of mental health programs for the past month, due to having flashbacks from multiple childhood traumas, including a near-fatal ski accident at the age of 12. I have been in 3 different schools in the past 2 years, and since then have been to so many appointments, getting treatment with loving and supportive therapists, doctors, and others.
Much of my life has been devoted to dogs. After the accident, I started a dog sitting & dog walking business to support charities that help children, families, and animals. My dad and I have talked to multiple professionals who all believe I can benefit from a psych support dog. A dog, trained to assist with PTSD symptoms, will help increase my ability to be in school and be on my own in everyday life.
