As many of you will know, I was diagnosed with laryngeal cancer back in September 2024 and following some pretty intensive chemotherapy, and then very gruelling radiotherapy, it appears that the medics done what they tried to do and beat that tumour.
Unfortunately, the story takes a twist and through nothing more than bad luck and timing, my cancer has spread to my chest and brain , which at this time is incurable and untreatable.
Not really what I had planned at the ripe old age of 52, but it is what it is!

So what next, I'll be fighting this for as long as I can, making sure that myself and Nicola can do as much as we can together before ..... well, you know.
For the foreseeable, I'll be receiving palliative care from MacMillan Cancer Support, as well as taking as much of the good drugs that NHS Scotland want to send my way and should anyone wish to make a donation to help support the amazing work that MacMillan do, please follow the link in this post. All donations will be greatly appreciated. The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, and every one of them needs the best support to meet their unique needs. That's why we'll do whatever it takes to help everyone living who will be diagnosed in the future.
