My mom Mary Hite house caught fire July 30 2014 while she was having surgery for home dialysis. She personally did not have house insurance.  I am a former 25 year law enforcement veteran  as well is my mom who was Louisiana 1st woman Warden in 1980s in Terrebonne Parish. Please don't hold this against us for my family have always tried to help people. My mom will need home dialysis soon and need whatever help possible. We have had articles in Terrebonne Parish local newspapers The Times of Houma and The Houma Courier.  We have tried every Avenue to get assistance including going to the Red Cross, Parish Government and Habitat for Humanities with little or no help.
