Here at Nantwich Collectables We have been inspired by the bravery and determination of Georgy. Everytime this young man comes to visit us at the shop his beaming smile brightens up everyone around him.

In January we were heading off to Florida USA for work when Georgy told us of his dream to visit Disney land , unfortunately with Georgys illness the idea of him going to the USA and being so far away from home wasn’t possible. However France is a short hour flight away and he could be back in the UK quickly if needed. So myself Ash and Wayne decided at that point to make this dream come true for this brave young man. We have done charity events in the past raising good money for recognisable charity’s such as Great Ormond Street & Alder Hey Children’s Hospital which both have a close place in our heart. But this one’s personal , knowing what Georgy has been through and to have such a Positive l attitude to this horrible illness has inspired all of us and our customers alike. we would like our friends family and customers to help his dream come true and send Georgy his mum and dad and one friend to Disney Land Paris to experience the magic of Micky mouse and friends in France. Our target is to raise £3,000 to pay for travel and expenses and give Georgy some spending money on top. All money raised will be given to the family to go to Disney France In 2025 and have a brake from the hardships of day to day life living with this in the family. Along with this go fund me page we are putting on a charity event At Nantwich Collectables where we will be having a Pokemon filled fun day including , Games , Fancy Dress and fun activities for all the family. The family fun day has been made possibly by so many of you donating gifts already. The auction and raffle have some amazing gifts that have been donated by customers and local businesses. We will be having a swap centre for people to trade cards , fun activities including a Pokemon card colouring in competition and lots more. We are aware times are tough for people during the increasing cost of everything so any money you can spare would mean a great deal. Our charity event will be held on Sunday 27/10/24 at Nantwich Collectables from 9am - 5pm.
