Hi, I’m Georgie, and over the next few months I’m taking on a series of tough fitness and endurance challenges to help support SEND music workshops with the Southern Music Project.

Who is the Southern Music Project?
Southern Music Project are a not-for-profit based in Hampshire and do brilliant work making music accessible to everyone, but without extra funding their SEND workshops would finish after just one term. I’m raising money so these sessions can continue through the summer holidays, giving SEND children the chance to stay creative, have fun, and feel included when routines often drop away.

Check them out below:

What does it mean to me
Music is something everyone can access. It doesn’t matter who you are or what your ability is — it’s a language everyone can speak, a creative outlet, and a powerful way to build confidence and connection. That’s what I love about Southern Music Project and why I wanted to do something meaningful to support them.

What I’m taking on
To help raise funds, I’ll be pushing myself through the following challenges:

1, The CrossFit Open 2026 (26 Feb – 16 March)
Three weeks of unknown, high-intensity workouts released weekly and completed alongside athletes from all over the world.

2, Maverick Hampshire Trail Race – 24km (14 March 2026)
A hilly, muddy trail race through the South Downs with over 400m of elevation — definitely not your average run.

3, The Hybrid Games – Farnborough (Female Solo) (11 April 2026)
A relentless mix of running and functional fitness, including rowing, ski erg, sled pushes, wall balls and a flat-out sprint finish.

4, “32 for 32” Birthday Run – 32km (10 May)
A solo endurance run to celebrate my 32nd birthday and finish the challenge strong.

Over these months I’ll cover 65km+ in race distances, alongside countless hours of training, lifting, and very tired legs — all to help fund more SEND music sessions over the summer.

Thank you so much for supporting me and this cause — every donation will go directly to Southern Music Project
