The GPC Power Delivery Employee Council Outreach is reaching out for help with raising money to furnish tvs for a wing in the Georgia War Veterans' facility.
This facility is licensed and certified by the US Department of Veterans Affairs to provide skilled nursing care to the aged and infirm Georgia War Veterans.
It serves the counties of Baldwin, Handcock, Putnam, Washington and Wilkinson.
The building houses 375 beds total.
We will use all the money donated to purchase 23 TVs with wall mounts that will be for the 24 bed unit located in the Wheeler Building – that is currently being used as a step down unit for COVID patients but will eventually go back to being used as an Alzheimer Unit.
