George Meressa @ Warlingham Youth Methodist Church

As George was overly generous during his recent mastermind event, we've decided to give back by setting up a GoFundMe page for a charity extremely close to his heart; to donate to on his behalf.

We've found that George volunteers over 14 hours a week (in summer even more!) to support the registered charity "Warlingham Methodist Church". Here are some examples of the events and activities that George is leading or helping with.

Tuesday Kids Clubs for school Years 6-8 & Thursday Older youth club for school Years 9-13 run during term time. During these, the youth can enjoy a range of activities including table tennis, football, pool, “Switch” Console, arts and crafts, cooking, tuck shop and more. It is a chance to make new friends and explore life issues and the Christian faith in interactive sessions. Anyone from any background, faith or no faith, is very welcome to attend!

Youth Connect is a chance to go deeper in faith, read scripture and pray together. This is generally attended by older members of the church youth.

Saturday Ignite is a contemporary worship night and all ages are welcome. There’s Domino's pizza and other refreshments after the service. Ignite runs every month.

Haslemere Ventures Holidays / Dane Hill: young people have the opportunity to go on a youth holiday to have loads of fun and explore the Christian faith.

There is no pressure at all to donate. A few raised the idea so we're just creating the vessel :)
