Help Me Raise £3,000 for Autism In Racing

On 28th October 2026, I’ll be taking part in the Autism In Racing Fundraising Race at Nottingham Racecourse, with a target of raising £3,000 for Autism In Racing.

I’m George Bartlett, I’m 27 and I work full-time as a three-day event rider, based at Caunton Manor Stud.

Horses and sport in general have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Having not come from a horsey background, I was very fortunate to have someone give me a leg up and the opportunity to get into the equine industry – quite literally, in more ways than one!

That opportunity has shaped my life and career, and I feel incredibly lucky to now work in a sport I’m so passionate about.

Why I’m Supporting Autism In Racing

That’s one of the reasons I’m particularly pleased to support Autism In Racing.

The organisation is working to make racing more accessible and inclusive for autistic and neurodivergent people and their families, creating enjoyable experiences at the races and helping families have a great day out together.

It also does hugely important work helping autistic and neurodivergent people pursue careers within the racing industry through mentoring, education and workplace support.

Having been given my own opportunity to find my way into the equine world, it means a lot to support an organisation that is helping create those opportunities for others and working towards an industry where everyone can find their place and thrive.

Autism In Racing works across the horseracing industry to make the sport more accessible, welcoming and inclusive for autistic and neurodivergent people.

Through autism-friendly racedays, dedicated quiet and sensory spaces, mentoring, education and workplace support, Autism In Racing is helping remove barriers both to enjoying the sport and to building a career within it.

Funds raised through the Autism In Racing Fundraising Race at Nottingham Racecourse on 28th October 2026 will help this work continue and reach even more people.
