Gentry Family Home Destroyed by Fire

On Saturday, December 22nd, a fire engulfed and destroyed the home of the Gentry Family in the Brentwood neighborhood in Raleigh.

Natalie and Brad Gentry were home with their two children (3 and 5 years old) when the fire occurred. They all managed to escape safely, but literally with only the clothes on their back, losing everything they owned to the devastating fire.

The family is still in need of a few physical items if you’d like to donate those (https://www.signupgenius.com/go/409054da8ab2ba1f85-help). They will likely be living in a hotel with limited storage space for a few/several months. Hotel living with small children will be challenging for such a long time, so gift certificates for family activities are greatly appreciated (Chucky Cheese, Defy Gravity, movies, etc.). Cooking will also be difficult as well, so gift cards to eat out would be extremely helpful. Their favorite restaurants are Red Robin, Mami Nora’s, Chic-Fil-A, and Mediterranean. If you would like to donate physical goods, please send a message to the page to make arrangements.
