Supporting Women's Empowerment & Rescuing a Mama Dog in El Salvador
Our Goal: Is to Raise $5,000 for essential community care through empowerment, sustainability, and compassion
Why This Matters
During our transformational Transcend2i retreat in El Salvador, we fell in love with the Mizata community — their warmth, their resilience, and their spirit. Now, we have an opportunity to give back in a meaningful way.
Genius Unlocked is partnering with the Mizata Foundation to support two immediate needs that embody our values of transformation, empowerment, and compassion:
✨ Essential infrastructure for local women
Rescue and care for a pregnant mama dog
Both projects are about empowerment, care, and creating lasting change.
Project 1: Washer & Dryer for the Women's Community
Right now, women in Mizata are still washing clothes by hand in the river — a time-consuming, physically demanding task that takes hours each day. It also will help the environment because the soap they use are harsh and has a detrimental effect on the ecosystem of the river, killing the local population of fish, which is the main source of food for some of the families in the area.
A washer and dryer will:
- Give these incredible women their time back to spend with family, build businesses, or simply rest
- Support the Women's Circle — a safe space for local women to gather, learn, heal, and empower one another
- Provide effortless access to clean clothing and linens for workshops, retreats, and community programs
- Create opportunities for sustainable, women-led income generation
This isn't just about appliances. It's about respect, empowerment, and freedom.
Project 2: Rescue & Sanctuary for a Pregnant Beach Dog
A gentle, sweet female dog named “La Tigre” (Tiger) has been living on the beach in Mizata. She's pregnant, vulnerable, and in need of immediate care.
We're committed to ensuring she and her puppies are safe, healthy, and loved.
Your donation will provide:
- A safe kennel/shelter where she can give birth in peace
- Nutritious food throughout her pregnancy
- Veterinary care during and after birth
- Spaying after birth to prevent future suffering and overpopulation
- Long-term sanctuary care through the dog rescue program
This is compassionate, responsible rescue — giving this mama and her babies a real chance at life.
