I'm a potter living in Winston-Salem raising funds to purchase generators for the relief efforts in Bakersville, NC. I am working directly with craftspeople leading distribution and mutual aid in that area. Any excess funds will go directly to mutual aid networks and will be spent as they see fit.

UPDATE: There are at least 30 families in the area of Bakersville in need of 5000-8000 watt generators. It is unknown when power will come back to many homes in this area.

Edit 10/08/24: Generators are only going to a distribution hub in Bakersville. I made the GoFundMe quickly and thought that Burnsville was included. Apologies for any confusion.
