Genardi Family Emergency Fund

My name is Jackie Baker, and today, I reach out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for compassion on behalf of a family very dear to our community—the Genardi Family.

The Genardi family has recently faced an unimaginable loss. John Genardi, a beloved husband to Sue and devoted father to four incredible children, Justin, Nick, Danny and Rebecca, has passed away after a long battle with cancer.

The Genardi Family are fervent supporters of the Mahwah Marching Thunderbirds and Access for All. They have devoted countless hours to ensuring the success of these programs.

In the wake of this tremendous loss, the Genardi family faces not only the immense grief of losing a husband and father but also the immediate financial burdens of funeral expenses and ongoing living costs. John's fight against cancer brought not just emotional strain but also significant financial challenges.

This GoFundMe campaign is to help alleviate some of the financial pressures the Genardi family faces, allowing them to grieve without the added stress of financial uncertainty. Our goal is to raise funds that will cover the funeral expenses and provide a financial cushion for the family in the coming months, helping them to cover daily living expenses and allowing them the space to heal.
