Gems Zen Garden

If anyone has the privilege to know Gem you know she is the most selfless person – the most wonderful mom to three beautiful boys, wife daughter sister and the bestest friend. Gem is the event planner of our group always making sure there is something to look forward to, to ensure we make memories with her loved ones.

Gem is the rock of our family the strongest and bravest woman we know.

Last year she dealt with some unimaginable heart-breaking news and was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma and is currently undergoing some very invasive treatment which we hope will give her the opportunity to spend more time with her family.

We know when she comes home things might feel a little different for her and it will take some time for her to adapt to her new normal. We know this will be an incredibly hard time for Gem and the whole family. As family/friends and community we would really like to raise some funds to create a calm and kind garden so she can enjoy some Zen time alongside her physio and recovery.

Gem couldn’t be any more deserving of her own little garden oasis.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, whether knowing someone in landscaping, contributing materials or money to make this possible. Anything you can spare would be amazing.
