We are aiming to donate, in Ali’s name, a new drum kit to LJS (school) so his passion for music can live on and inspire future generations, where he learned to play.

We do this because Ali was such a fun loving, caring and much loved person who touched the hearts of all those who were lucky enough to meet him.

Celebrating Ali is an invitation-only, live music event that will bring together many of his old school friends to share stories and memories of Ali - and celebrate him in the best way that we know and that he would have loved!

As these friendships go back over 30 years, the music will reflect that and go back even further... with hand-picked musicians, The AliCats, have been put together especially for this one-off event.

Whilst they may not be playing the thrash metal stuff that was Ali’s go-to music, the set list has been carefully planned and will include a few of Ali’s favourite numbers and plenty of crowd pleasers from back in the day!

It will be an event that Ali would have loved to attend – and we know he will be there with us in spirit! There is even a support act that will play before The AliCats so all those attending are in for a real treat!

The event will take place at The ACE Club, Guisborough.

Please donate generously and let’s make sure that we can do Ali proud and provide the school, and the young people of Guisborough, with an amazing drum kit in Ali’s name.

Any leftover funds will cover costs of the band and/or be donated to a suitable charity.
