In loving memory of our Grandma.

We are raising money in loving memory of our grandma, who sadly passed away after living with dementia for 3 years.

Our grandma was a real life angel. She was kind, strong, and always put others before herself. She loved spending time with her family and was always there with a smile, a story, or comforting words. Dementia may have taken so much from her, but it will never take away the love she gave or the memories we shared.

Dementia UK supports families through specialist dementia nurses called Admiral Nurses, who provide practical advice, emotional support, and reassurance when it’s needed most.

We wanted to honour our grandma’s life by helping other families facing the same challenges. Emily & I will be running different distances throughout 2026 starting with the Bolton half marathon in March. Any donation, no matter how small, will help Dementia UK continue their vital work and support those affected by dementia and hopefully one day, find a cure for this heartbreaking disease.
