Honoring Sara’s Legacy & Supporting Jonathan Through His Loss

As many of you know, our hearts are broken as Jonathan recently lost his life partner and love of his life, Sara Housley, after a very brave, but difficult fight against breast cancer. The love and life they shared were truly beautiful, and their bond was something rare and extraordinary. This loss has left him devastated. Sara faced her illness with strength, grace & courage, and through it all, she & Jonathan continued to share a love that inspired everyone around them.

Sara touched countless lives with her kindness, warmth, and spirit. She gave so much of herself to others, and it’s hard to imagine life without her presence. While her memory will live on in all who knew her, Jonathan is now left navigating both overwhelming grief and the many financial challenges that come with such a painful loss. In addition to the immense emotional pain, the mounting personal, household, and medical expenses throughout Sara’s tough fight, along with the obvious current expenses, are extremely overwhelming especially without his partner by his side. To help ease this burden, I have created this GoFundMe. Contributions will go toward funeral and memorial costs, day-to-day living expenses, and the breathing room Jonathan needs during this time of healing.
