There are moments in life when you find yourself at a crossroads — where loss, pain, and purpose intersect. My mother battled depression for years. We were poor, and for a long time, I didn’t know how to help. I just became angry. Even as an adult, I pushed through — helping others, showing up, appearing strong — until I couldn’t anymore.

After losing my mom and uncles, I hit a breaking point. I realized I’d been trying to heal everyone but myself. It wasn’t until I began nurturing my own inner child that I truly understood what healing meant.

During a deeply spiritual experience in Mexico, I discovered peace — and with it, a vision: to create a space where others could rediscover their calm, their confidence, and their “inner mojo.”

For more than 25 years, I’ve volunteered in my communities — mentoring, teaching, and helping others rise through connection and purpose. In one of my previous businesses, I was honored by Senator Kathy Harrington for my work in the community, as seen below. But as this vision has grown, I’ve realized that the Inner Mojo Movement™ is bigger than what I can carry alone.

Alongside my many years of community service, I’ve spent my career as a serial entrepreneur, author, and certified project manager — helping people and organizations bring meaningful ideas to life.

That experience taught me how to turn vision into reality — with structure, heart, and accountability. Every element of the Inner Mojo Rising Movement™ and Your Inner Mojo Lounge™ has been designed with that same care — combining soulful healing with a sustainable, professional foundation that can grow globally.

This is no longer just my mission — it’s ours. Together, we can make healing accessible for every generation.

The Vision: Your Inner Mojo Lounge™

Your Inner Mojo Lounge™ is more than a space — it’s a sanctuary for reflection, mindfulness, and community healing.

A place where people can pause, breathe deeply, and remember who they are. Where sound baths, journaling, silent dining, and other curated experiences help individuals return to peace.

This will be the first of its kind in Cape Town, South Africa, and eventually the world. This franchise-ready concept blends healing, art, and emotional wellness under one peaceful roof while having an ecosystem that benefits the communities in which it resides.

The Inner Mojo Rising Movement™

At the heart of this mission is The Inner Mojo Rising Movement™ — a youth and community initiative designed to teach mindfulness, self-awareness, community compassion, and purpose-driven living.

Our programs are designed for both teens and adults — because the earlier the mind-shift begins, the stronger and more compassionate our communities become.

Through creative journaling, sound therapy, and mentorship, we’re helping young people rediscover their worth, develop emotional intelligence, and lead with purpose.

We already have Mojo Pods in North Carolina, Mexico, and Cape Town — creating safe opportunities for healing and growth — continuing to expand globally to reach communities in need of hope and direction.
