Medical Expenses

UPDATE:

During the surgery Chris had in September, they removed his thyroid and 60 lymph nodes (40 were cancerous). The surgeon had to leave a partial tumor on his vocal nerve for fear of permanent damage to it. This has been a long road for him, he has had his radiation treatment postponed 3 times. The last two weeks Chris has had to have multiple thyroid injections to get his levels up to where the radiation would attach itself to the tumors. The doctor tried to order a PET scan which was denied by insurance as being unnecessary, his doctor then ordered a CT scan with contrast. The CT scan showed that the cancer has migrated to his lungs. Chris was finally able to receive his radiation treatment on 3/7, we will now have to wait 6 months to see if the radiation has done what it needs to.

On July 21st, my son Chris was diagnosed with thyroid cancer that has spread to his lymph nodes. We are currently awaiting results to see if it has spread to another place in his body. He will be undergoing surgery and radiation for the cancer. We are raising money to help with medical and personal expenses. He is a very humble guy and never asks for help, but he needs help now.
