The Heart Behind This Campaign…
Every student that trains at Gateway Cities Krav Maga (GCKM) has a story. With a diverse student body that includes children and teens (from the Juniors Program, Homeschool Classes, and the La Habra Police Department Explorers youth program), mature adults, veterans, military, local law enforcement, and people from all walks of life, you might expect our stories and reasons for training to vary widely. In reality, aside from particulars, they sound pretty similar because so many of us have been drawn to the GCKM community day after day and night after night for the same reasons:

This is all true because Mr. Noi gives generously and pours his heart, soul, body, and finances into every aspect of the studio to make you and me better. We are given quality, balanced, self-giving instruction by well trained instructors who hold to his standards in a safe, well-kept, clean environment that is family focused … and all that at an affordable price.
The Facts Behind This Campaign…
GCKM is classified as a gym and, like so many gyms in the local area, its doors have been closed in accordance with the COVID-19 pandemic regulations. Unfortunately, there is no public information regarding the reopening timeline for Phase 3 businesses, which includes gyms.
During the shutdown, Mr. Noi and GCKM instructors have been working tirelessly to keep our community connected. They are constant and transparent in their communications with us. They are doing everything they can, pivoting their class format in order to keep us engaged, keep our skills sharp, and keep our community together during these unprecedented times.
The Goal Of This Campaign …
Our funding goal has been set in an effort to offset the existing deficit that has been created by the COVID-19 shutdown, and to hopefully provide a buffer that will keep the studio functioning at minimum expense over the next few months in anticipation of an extended closure with no set date for reopening.

With the hundreds of people who have experienced the instruction and sense of community at Gateway Cities Krav Maga, this goal - we as students have set - could be met with the help of all, and surpassed in short order, if everyone who has ever benefited from GCKM gives with heart the way Mr. Noi and GCKM has contributed to our lives.
In the spirit of our motto, “Do what’s hard today, do the impossible tomorrow,” please give hard today, so we - and those who have yet to discover Gateway Cities Krav Maga -, can do the impossible tomorrow!
