Hugh Dugan has cancer and not much family
Donation protected
Hugh is my brother. He developed cancer in his throat, and the bottom of his jaw a few months ago. He is in treatment, which includes chemotherapy and radiation.
It is all outpatient, and he needs to be taken to treatments 5 days a week. His friends are helping mightily.
For the past 4 weeks, they have taken him to treatments, appointments, and taken care of just about everything he and his wife need.
Dolly has been disabled by MS for years and Hugh has been her caretaker. Dolly just came out of a nursing home following some weeks of physical rehab in the hospital.
I live on the far north side of Chicago with my daughter and Hugh is far south.
Hugh's friends have not only provided transportation during this time but have been helping him financially as well ---- hundreds of dollars for medicines and just living.
I need to jump in here to say that I can only help out by providing rides for Hugh 3 days a week from an outside service. I will be paying $200 a week to make that happen.
My daughter and I also provided a new cell phone and some new shirts and pants.
Any financial contributions you can make would be so appreciated. I am asking for $3,000 because this is just the beginning of his treatment.
As far as my daughter and I are concerned, Hugh is a light in our lives and always has been.
