Asalaamu Alaikum/Peace be upon you,

I come to my community on behalf of a beloved friend of mine who is in dire need. Her family has fallen on hard times, they are a few months behind on rent. If they are not able to get caught up, foreclosure and eviction are imminent.

WE ARE TRYING TO RAISE ALL FUNDS BY MONDAY, OCTOBER 20TH.

We all know that tough times are present. We see families being ripped apart (here and abroad) and people losing their jobs due to this current administration. Many of us are just a couple of missed paychecks away from homelessness ourselves. In these times, it is incumbent upon us to hold each other up.

Of course, this family wants to remain anonymous, so I am limited with the details I can share. Just know they have helped COUNTLESS others find housing and stability. It is now our duty to show up and support them in their time of need with whatever we can spare. $10 to $1,000 (or more) would be so incredibly helpful for them.

Please keep them in your prayers, and if you are unable to give monetarily, perhaps you know someone else who can, so forward this to them. Or perhaps you have resources for rental assistance to share.
