Hello friends and family! I will be traveling to Ecuador in March for my first dental mission trip with the Dental Community Fellowship. Dental Community Fellowship (DCF) is a nonprofit organization at the
The Medical University of South Carolina which desires to impact healthcare. They provide dental students with opportunities for international service in underserved communities, as well as personal spiritual growth. DCF is sending a mission team to Ecuador from March 7th -14th 2020.
During our time there, we will be utilizing portable equipment to staff a clinic to treat a wide variety of dental problems including extractions, fillings, and cleanings. In addition, we will be visiting schools in the community to educate children on the importance of oral hygiene.
I am extremely excited about the opportunity to have an impact on the lives of people in Ecuador. I am anxious to put my dental training and education to work in a place that greatly needs it. For me, this trip is the perfect opportunity to combine my passion for healthcare with
my desire to help those in need.
In order for me to attend the trip, I am responsible for raising support. The total cost is $2000 per person which covers travel, lodging, meals, etc. If you would like to be a part of my financial support for the mission trip, any help would be greatly appreciated during this holiday season.
