Christmas Eve Boxes

Hi, I'm Deborah and I want to make and donate at least 25 Christmas Eve Boxes to local families who may be struggling financially and who can't afford to treat their family this year to a lovely Christmas. I'm also holding a party for the kids as well for the 2nd year running.

To me, Christmas Eve has always been a little bit magical, and it's not fair that some kids have to go without because of poverty..especially in this day and age! I want these famies to have a lovely evening with new fluffy blankets, hot chocolate in Xmas Mugs, a nice Christmas smelling candle, chocolates, socks, Christmas bubble bath, hot water bottles, Christmas Activity, story and colouring in books and pens, reindeer food and as many treats that I can raise money for!

I brought my son up alone, yet I was lucky I had a council place and didn't have to worry about being homeless or that my son would go without presents but loads of families really are struggling (Thanet has one of the highest rates of poverty) and its not the kids fault that they have to have a rubbish Christmas!

So dig deep and spread the love...this will be the 3rd year of the scheme and last year we also gave each child an amazing present after the party that had an entertainer and lovely food and drink along with the Christmas eve box that was packed with goodies thanks to you all! Let's really make this year super special !
