Baby Hudson was born Wednesday May 30th @ 11:50 AM
All looked well until it was found that Hudson had to be transferred to the Stollery in Edmonton just a few short hours after birth due to complications coming from a underdeveloped esophagus , and an extra branch off his trachea that is leading to his stomach. The condition is called transesophageal fistula , so he can't eat on his own and there is air going into his stomach.
Hudson is scheduled for surgery June 1st @ 2 PM
Mama Emily is one of my best friends and as a first time mom this is terrifying for her as you can imagine. So what I am hoping is that we can raise enough money to keep this family together for the next 4 to 6 weeks while Hudson remains in hospital . They live in Lloydminster and Emily is on maternity leave and Will (Hudsons' proud daddy) works in Lloydminster so being in Edmonton for this length of time can be quite a drain on someones finances. All we want is to keep them together for the time it will take for Hudson to get well and come home. No family should ever be separated at a time when it means so much to have each other to lean on. Please help me make this happen for two of the most wonderful people I have had the pleasure to call friends.
Every little bit will help. Hudson needs to bond with both mama and dad so lets make this happen for them.
