Gaza: Support Yasmeen and her family of 7

Dear friends, kind strangers and people of the word,

My name is Yasmeen Ridwan, and I am running this campaign to help my family survive through this insane war in Gaza.

As you know, with the war going on for more than a year now, and the unimaginable destruction of an entire society, we really need the support of the good, conscientious people of the world to keep going. We are cut off by the Israeli siege, worse than ever - and the killing seems endless.

I am 27 years old, and originally from Gaza city. Me and my family have been living in a tent on the sand in southern Gaza for the past year. I'm from a family of eight and trained as an accountant in university. Before the war I was working in a telecommunications shop. I had dreams to pursue a masters in accounting. But the war has destroyed my dreams, all our dreams. I lost my job, we had to flee our home. We are so tired. We miss our homes, and the dignity and privacy and comfort that a house means.

Recently our tent was flooded in heavy rains. We often burn our hands whilst cooking on open stoves. The heat and the cold is harsh - and winter is upon us for the second time in this war. There is the constant fear of imminent death from Israeli shelling.

I know there are countless people needing support in Gaza, and you all only have limited funds, but if you have capacity please consider helping me and my family. May Allah reward you.

The money raised will go towards purchasing food supplied, tent equipment, medical expenses and other such issues.
