Dear generous donors around the world,
I lost my job for the first time in my life, but with your help, I have the opportunity to return to it with strength.

"Me as a faculty member at a graduation ceremony for my students at the Islamic University of Gaza."
This campaign will save 32 members of my family living in Gaza.
Here is the full story of the suffering of everyone in my family since the war began.
My story:

"Hello, I’m Aya an Engineer from Gaza, a mother of two children, Waseem and Naseem. When the war started, I was in the hospital because my little 8-month-old child was suffering from spinal fever. I left the hospital on my own 3 days after the war started because of my extreme fear for myself and my family. since the first day of the war I was displaced from my apartment, which I moved to it before 10 months the war began, and which I bought through installments and bank checks extending to the year 2030.
Two weeks after the war began,my apartment was hit by a shell that destroyed everything. A month later, the building was bombed with two missiles and is now will collapse. After that, I lost my job for the first time in my life. I remained without work.
I was an outstanding student and got a job before I graduated, and I continued to work until the brutal war on Gaza began. The contract between UNRWA in Gaza and UNICC, where I worked as a computer engineer, ended. and the UNICC contacted me directly to provide an employment contract. but on the condition that I am outside Gaza so that I can complete my work due to the lack of electricity, internet, and necessities of life in Gaza, but I do not have the money necessary to leave Gaza with my family. so today I am asking for your help back to my loved work.
If I cannot get out as soon as possible, I may lose the opportunity of a lifetime that I have always worked for and dreamed of.
So please donate for me and my family so I can start my life again, return to work strongly, and become self-reliant again."
My family's suffering:
The most terrible thing about this war is that my father is missing, his fate unknown.

( My father and mother with some of their grandchildren at my brother Muhammad’s master’s degree graduation)
We lost my father, his money, his building, and his cars, and we were all left homeless.
My father worked for more than 35 years to save our future, but in the blink of an eye it was all gone.
My father, a retired math teacher who dedicated his entire life to constructing a generation full of knowledge and passion and who guided us through life's challenges, went missing while my family was fleeing for safety. The uncertainty of his fate weighs heavily on our hearts as we don't know if he is alive or not.
My family, who has always been my rock, began to face unimaginable hardships. It started with the heartbreaking loss of our home in Northern Gaza, a place that symbolized safety and the cherished memories of my father's hard work.

"My father's building, completed in 2019, is what remains of my father's building"
The suffering didn't end there. My family remains trapped in Northern Gaza, struggling to find food, clean water, and essential healthcare. My brothers tirelessly search for food scraps to sustain our family, resorting even to animal feed to survive. The loss of our family's taxi business has left them without income for months, relying on the money transferred to them by my brother Nabil, who lives in Turkey. As the days pass, the situation grows increasingly dire. My nephews and nieces in Gaza, like all children, are facing severe malnutrition due to the lack of food, making them susceptible to diseases that they are ill-equipped to fight off. The psychological toll of the war and bombardments weighs heavily on their young minds, leaving them anxious, frightened, and traumatized.

My family has been dispersed in a sad way, as I and my sisters (Reem,Halima) and our families were forced to flee to the south of Gaza, leaving my brothers in the north and missing father. We suffer from outrageous prices, diseases, and a lack of water, lunch, and medicine. We are homeless in a store east of Rafah that is unsafe because of its proximity to the border.
The nights are long and filled with worry as I sit here in Turkey, feeling powerless to help my family in their time of need. But amid despair, I hold onto hope - hope that the kindness and generosity of strangers like you can make a difference.
My sister Halima gave birth to her newborn, Karam, in the south during the war on November 15, 2023. Karam is now 6 months old. His father never saw him or embraced him because he stayed in the north with his elderly parents.

"Karam when he was born, Karam is 6 months old today"
