Gather Yoga and Wellness Angel Wings

Jennifer Yockey has created a sacred space for the community that our family lives in and loves. She believes Unity, Connection, Movement, Self-Compassion, Awareness, Acceptance and Grace are integral to the growth of both the individual and the collective. It’s not about touching your toes but what you learn on the way down.

Gather Yoga and Wellness thrived online during Covid and was a lifeline for many of us in the community. Recently Gather had to move to a new studio. The former studio had beautiful angel wings artistically painted on the wall that kept us grounded in the sacred space. The new studio is lovely but was missing something until a local a local art gallery in La Quinta, EssenceArts, allowed the studio to temporarily display the painting you see in the picture above.

That was it, the missing element in the studio. Carl Jung believed that humans produce art in the inner images the soul needs in order to see itself and allow its own transformation. The angel painting completes this sacred space as it not only embodies but inspires transformation.

The Gather community would like to purchase the painting to be donated to Gather Yoga and Wellness and has set up a GoFundMe page to accomplish this.
