The Gateway Citizens Committee was recently formed to pursue legal recourse for possible violations of California's Open Meeting Law, aka The Brown Act, by Gateway Unified School District Trustees Cherrill Clifford, Lindsi Haynes and Elias Haynes.
Our elected officials must follow the law, deliberate openly, listen to the public and make reasoned decisions based on the needs of the community and the education of our students.
The funds will be used to hire experienced legal counsel who are local to Shasta County.
